Inside of the base is damaged, is it still safe?

I was cooking a pork roast last night, and some of the juice somehow got into the bottom under the crock, and it cooked for several hours on high. When I took the crock out, the bottom had cooked on food, and one large cooked-on stain on the side, so I cleaned it out and noticed that it had eaten away at the silver finish in a few small places, exposing the metal. Is it still safe to cook in this?

One friend said I could recoat the inside with silver appliance paint and it would be fine, but I'm not convinced.

Turn off tab scrolling

I suddenly have tab scrolling on my FF. I don't know what did it. I tried everything I can find, but the CSS I found online doesn't work. I need an updated CSS, because none of the other settings are doing anything. TIA for your help.

Why can't we block all these scraped fake news channels with clickbait titles anymore?

You can't even block them through the "more..." on the channel description. There is absolutely no way to block them, or report the channel. There are hundreds of them, maybe thousands, I don't know. There are people on YT telling people how to scrape the material and create the channels. One guy says he's creating a hundred a day. WTF????

I'm telling you, Google is going to regret the way they are treating their users one day. For a company whose motto was "Don't Be Evil," they sure are one of the most evil entities on earth.

▲ 1 r/Figs

This tree was given to me by a friend who said it's a Settler's Fig, supposedly a hand-me-down plant that was the first figs the settlers brought to Florida. So I don't even know what country they came from, just that it tastes and looks a lot like Celeste.

It has only ever put out one set of fruit in the spring, what you call brebas. I live in N. Central Florida, so that may have something to do with it. It never has a fall crop, because our fall is still too hot for man or beast.

Are there figs that only put out a crop in the spring? If not, I'm thinking about taking the fruit off to see if it puts out fruit in the fall.

Sorry, no pic.

I have a red bell pepper plant that did nothing last year, mostly because I was sick most of the year and didn't take care of it. I left it outside this winter, just covered it during freezes, and somehow, it survived.

Sadly, the side shoots did freeze, so now it's just a tall stalk with growth at the top. It has a pepper on it, but I'm thinking of sacrificing that to get more growth.

I guess what I have now is a bell pepper "tree." LOL Even though all the side shoots died, can I drastically cut it back? Will it come back out, or should I just grow it as a tree pepper?

NEED Help Removing Plants From My Garden

Please PM me for more info, because I can get wrapped up and not check replies. TY

I'm not able to dig these plants myself, so I need some help. Nothing too big or hard to dig, mostly bromeliads and crocosmia. What you do with the plants once they are dug up is up to you, keep them, toss them, give them away, whatever, but I need them removed from my yard.

If you have sharp shovels, please bring them. Mine are old and not very good for digging.
