Please help me got back on my feet
During covid, I lost my job and, like so many others, struggled to find work during the pandemic. When my unemployment benefits ran out, I became homeless and spent two years without a place to call home, losing everything I owned. During that time, I developed cellulitis in both legs and was unable to walk. After being hospitalized, I learned that my kidneys were failing, and now I am on dialysis three days a week. I was recently discharged from a post-acute rehab facility, where I spent two years learning how to walk again. Now, I am starting over from scratch.
I am determined to rebuild my life, but it’s been difficult searching for jobs on my phone. I need a laptop to look for work-from-home opportunities, which would allow me to support myself while managing my health. Having the right tools will make a huge difference in my ability to find stable employment and continue my recovery.
I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but right now I need a little help to get back on my feet. Any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Thank you for being there during this difficult time.
