Too bad retailers won't donate crossword puzzle magazines to senior centers. At least these crosswords were in a recycle dumpster. However if I removed them it could possibly be considered theft.

Yes dumpster diving can be profitable, but don't let dumpsterdiving for low hanging fruit distract you from seeking a career job with good social security and pension retirement benefits.

Back when Windows 95 rolled out dumpsters in my town were overflowing with older computers, software and related stuff that I was foolishly thinking of quitting the best job I ever had. Folks I knew at the Veterans administration had bent over backwards to help me find that job.

Computer shops and companies were upgrading their systems and trashed perfectly good older computers and assorted electronics. Lots of money being tossed out. All I was thinking about at the time was instant gratification. I didn't think about my future until friends and family sat me down and talked some sense into my head.

Utility companies are hiring. A lot of good jobs out there if one is motivated and willing to learn, especially if you're a veteran.

Utility workers are in steady demand due to the ongoing need for infrastructure maintenance, repairs, and upgrades in sectors like water, electricity, and gas.

Focus on dumpsterdiving when retirement comes along.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Hope this makes sense, it's late and I'm tired.

I see a lot of folks driving around with their dog hanging out the vehicles window. Some while sitting on the drivers lap. I often wonder how many are accidentally ejected or decide to make a run for it.

How many get hurt or killed?

Question, should an 8 year old girl be out by herself after dark? North Seattle shoreline area near Aurora ave.

I was going through a McDonald's drive through approximately 10pm when I noted (best guess) an 8 year old female going from car to car asking for something to drink.

I contacted a neighboring business store employee and he said she has been wandering around the parking lot most of the day. My cell phone battery was low and the charger cable isn't working so I asked the employee if he would call 911. He did. A shoreline police officer showed up about 20 maybe 25 minutes later. The girl had long disappeared behind the Page pizza restaurant.

The cop said he couldn't do anything about it.

Am I over reacting? I didn't want the girl being accosted by some pervert or pimp. Common to see pimp prostitute action going on at some spots along Hwy 99.

It's unbelievable how many e-bike and scooter riders I see while out and about not wearing helmets. A traumatic brain injury can be a life changing event.

A young coyote ran out in front of my vehicle tonight. Hit my brakes. Happened so suddely. As agent 86 would say...missed by that much.

In Edmonds traveling on 76th, cross street 236th. The coyote appeared to be frightened and running from something. Fortunately I pay close attention to my driving and missed it. The last few months I've noted a lots of coyotes out and about.

For those who have cats or other small animals, please keep them indoors for safety.
