I’ve been collecting Skullpanda for a bit now, mostly sticking to official drops, but lately I’ve also been exploring secondhand options. I’ve seen some interesting listings through trades, resellers, and even a few live auctions on whatnot.

What surprised me is how often older series, opened boxes, or dupes pop up when people are downsizing collections. It feels more relaxed than fighting drop times, and sometimes you get to hear why someone is letting a piece go.

Not trying to buy or sell here, just curious. Are most of you sticking strictly to drops, or are you also picking up Skullpanda through secondhand or live platforms?

was finding loads of peppers, onions, potats, oranges and apples all in great condition pretty regularly but it's been awhile. went a little outside the city and...

right up at the top easy pickings too.

for real, tho...

out of not even every bag there's one iffy squishy one. nothing unlike picking up a bag of these and forgetting them for a week in the fridge veg bin.

still good...

but not just purchased yesterday.

working on going through them, washing and freezing them tonight.

yay!

Lots of home repair stores are throwing away plants, so I've been stopping by any time I can to grow my garden. Brought these babies today! Muhly grass, orange bulbine flowers, echeveria, and I think it's aloe diablo! There were so so many tomato plants but they were bent and wouldn't make it :(

Found a box in the dumpster that I thought was going to have a few good toys but they were junk. (Except for my 4yr olds daughter's new crown) Had almost a whole dollar and an unopened gift card. Checked the card and it hasn't been used! Yay! Thank you Jesus! The dumpster provides. I also found an unopened Keurig that was in the same dumpster and this was only a few days after I had found the scooter.

Another successful day at the farmers market, my first grapes this year and the best kind (sultana:) avocado was a nice surprise at the bottom of the box and it had to be used asap so I whipped a quick guacamole with some smoked paprika. Knife is my precious woodworking tool I don't really use for woodwork but it's been useful while foraging and ddiving as well:)

Oh I also found some sweaters and jeans and there is too much textile left behind at the flea part of the market, it's sad really, I wish I had space for more since I started upcycling some things (bleach dyed pants in that last photo were thrifted for 2$ at the same market:)

So, I know a lot of y’all were rooting for my partner and I to get that Traeger grill. We didn’t end up getting it as I said in my last update post, BUT while I was out on one of my work routes, I found this bad boy! Loaded that sucker up into my van as fast as possible lmao. Charbroiler grill, name brand and everything. Pulled out our old propane tank and got it filled up and it’s been hosting our dinners for the last two weeks! The universe heard my plea and sent me what I needed!! Works out perfectly cause our oven AND microwave are now kaput, so this helps while we search for curb finds to replace those two things

Since I know how the Internet can be.
Before anyone mentions the cars, front one has been broken down since we got it aaaages ago and dude sold it for cheap not knowing what he had. I keep pressure washing it so it doesn’t look nasty lmao. Other is our second hand daily bc we can’t afford to keep filling up my edge’s gas tank. They ALSO sold it for cheap not knowing how valuable it was. My partner keeps holding onto that rover praying he can fix it and get himself a luxury vehicle for dirt cheap and I don’t blame him, but it’s got a blown head. That’s gonna be rough.

It’s a composting dumpster but still. Plus the bagged potatoes were in the normal dumpster

I was just telling my bf how at my moms apartment building i used to find all types of stuff. Both of my dressers i have in my old room at my moms i got from next to the dumpsters (they were far too large and in good condition in my opinion) to actually throw inside the dumpsters. Then we go to visit her yesterday and on the way in we found this little dresser from ikea and on the way out the TV which is a bit older but it works (we tried it when we got home) and it still has the wall mount attached to the back of it. Id say it was a score for us for sure!
