DVDs in the street

I was walking to my town's shopping centre to sell some films and some old electronics when I came across a public bin (or public trash can for you Americans) and next to it was a bunch of large bits of waste dumped next to it from a nearby house, along with some DVDs. I stopped to have a look and they all seemed in good condition, not broken or wet. I picked out seven of them out of eight as the eighth one was a bootleg (I could tell by the poor quality cover print). I took them with me to sell aswell. Didn't get a lot for them, but I think it's better to have them go to a anoher home rather than the landfill.

I have most of these on blu-ray anyway so I had no use for them.

Saved a bag of Poliwhirls off the side of the road

I was driving down the highway and saw a bag of trash, and thought to myself "boy those look just like Poliwhirls". I decided to bang a U-turn and it was exactly that. My guess is that these are prizes from the carnival in town and fell off the truck but they are in a good home, because I actually collect these plushes. What a score!

Walk-up with a bag or drive straight up to these?

So I found a spot I'd like to try but it has absolutely zero visual cover from the main road (no gates or fences). I usually wear workout clothes and use a massive tote bag to load into. I've only done a stand alone dollar store so far and think this would be a good place to try next. I have to day dive for safety reasons. For a wide-open setup like this at dawn, would you risk driving right up to the bins to load fast, or stick to the walk-up strategy so you blend in?

$150 at a discount store but for limited time, it was 100% off

and by lmited time, i mean for however long it was in the dumpster lol. seems to work well, although i currently have nothing to put in it for a proper test. front is scratched, but it seems to otherwise be like new

Great shelve/side table for our tent!

My boyfriend (M+M) live in this like, massive "apartment style" tent. Found these at like 5am..."unhoused" people do deserve furniture.

Beat the heat!

I usually hit my honey hole around 645pm Saturdays. Worried sick the heat may get the good stuff before me I went ahead and took care of bittness tonight!🤣🤣🤣
100% will be donated.

Retail waste

Just had to throw away several containers of these incredibly crunchy and juicy apples at my job because they're "out of date." I saved two for my lunch today but I'd get in trouble if I got caught. Don't tell my boss but I eat so-called trash instead of tossing it pretty much daily lol.

P.S. I hope this fits the sub

Cracker tin from 1969 I found at the dump today. Perfect for storing random stuff in.

I looked down in an old cardboard box and there it was. I asked my 78 year old grandpa about it. His response was “Oh yeah I remember those. They really kept the crackers from going stale unlike the cardboard we have now.”

My finds from my last run.

I had a stuart little 1945 first edition book but my friend saw it and bought it from me even though I told him he could have it. The Wii u does power on and has a game in it. I don't know if the ring is a men's or a woman's. All this from one spot. Haven't tested the printer yet. If the art supplies are still usable I am going to take them to a place that does art stuff for kids. And two back rounds for photography. I am tired from trying to go through it all.
