Are you currently predicting Obsession for Best Picture?
I know Obsession is somewhat of a controversial topic on this sub for some reason, but it seems reasonable to think that before The Debut premiered, Inde Navarrette was the most talked about performance in the Best Actress category and me thinking that she could win any precursors was the main reason I was predicting Obsession in BP. I always thought Julianne Moore would be the frontrunner, but that there would be room for Inde to win CC or something.
I also thought Obsession would win the GG box office award without a doubt (and it still might), but I feel like The Odyssey was such a massive achievement that it could even take that.
With that scenario in mind, one where Obsession wins no precursors, is it still reasonable to predict it for Best Picture? It's not like it would be a big package. Picture, Screenplay, Actress, Casting? Score?
At the moment I'm leaning towards only predicting Navarrette and Focus to have no Best Picture contenders make it in. What about you?
