Proof of Mechanicals license requested by CD manufacturer is this a new practice?

Is this a new practice, im prepping a 11 song CD which has 3 cover songs, im a new manufacturer I am the label, not them, but in the 11th hour they asked for proof that i obtained mechanicals? I did it, i paid harry fox and showed them the receipt, but i think its not their business to see that ...they're not releasing the album, I am. I've never had this happen before and I've made CD's before.

which mortar for replacing waterline tiles in Northeast?

One guy in canada, i found on the web said "Laticrete Platinum 254" is the best mortar, but then my pool filter/plumbing tech came by the swap my filter for a doheny and he said when he puts in a few tiles for people he used Marble Dust , the same thing thats on my bottom, marble dust with white cement, he said 2 to one ratio, hes not doing full tiles which is what im looking for.. (im noit sure which is the 2 is which is the 1, anybody know?)

1- anybody have a definitive experience on this? Laticrete platinum 254 does come in white..

2- A supply house near me said its the marble mix 1 to 2 units of white cement. does that make sense? anybody know if this is strong enough for cold winterss to hold waterline tile on?

Waterline Tiles replacement without water, not hurt the gunnite?

hi all someone posted their pre and post waterline tile replacement job, looked great . in their case the water was in the pool when the techs did it. Various techs i've spoken to so far, have yet to explain their process if the pool is empty, alot of the problem is language barriers and so far attitude barrier even though im paying thousands for this.

How would they do the deep end waterline tiles, if there's no water without destroying the gunnite? 9 ft deep, no water you gonna put a ladder down on the marble dusted gunnite? i can't visualize this...i've suggested using my pool cover, across the bottom but i dont think that will prevent it from "cutting the gunnite"??? Here is what Ai- says they do "To protect the floor in the deep end, crews use ladders or scaffolding with thick rubber feet. They also lay down heavy protective coverings like thick rubber mats, plywood sheets, or heavy-duty drop cloths to catch debris and prevent tools from scratching the pool's finish." Anybody here know?

Best top Load washer? Which reviews to trust? Cant decide!

im looking for a top load washer, always trying to decipher which reviews are legit, I just dont know anymore. Consumer Reports seems to push LG, on all fronts, but Im finding decent reviews here and on retail sites about GE, even though they're made in china.

GE GTW485ASWWB Seems always someone not happy about any brand any model so im verklempt!

One brand maybe was maytag here someone complained the "cold water" isnt cold enough? How is this possible? Cold water is natural water in your house right or wrong?

Replacing Waterline tiles on my Gunnite pool any tips on how not be messy?

Im finally replacing old tiles on my family pool, i got the tiles its a 16x2 kidney. Its around 200 tiles. My concern is, in this day and age where its hard to find good mechanics with the right attitude towards consumers, how to avoid them messing up the bottom when they do the tiles only? I was thinking if they are not up front in explaining it to prep the pool myself ducktape a pool cover to the walls under the tile line....any other thoughts?

Thats my primary concern, like other homeowner projects, they;'re gonna bang and run, and mess up the gunnitte of the pool with mortar drip and so forth..
