I will be in the Azores in October and am interested in doing a day trip to Corvo Island from Flores.

Is this a worthwhile excursion? I see a few options for boat trips from Flores to Corvo but it does not appear that any offer a transfer to Miradouro do Caldeirão.

Is it easy to find a taxi that will take you to the Miradouro? I was thinking of taking a taxi to the Miradouro and then hiking back down to the port. How difficult is this hike?

Any operators you would recommend for this excursion?
