If I visit your country, what's one place you'd recommend and why?

Hi everyone!

Starting this August, I'll be beginning my solo travel journey, with Japan as my first destination. After that, I'm planning to visit more countries, and I'd love to hear recommendations from locals or people who know their country well.

If I visit your country, what's one place you think I absolutely shouldn't miss, and why? It can be a city, a small town, a national park, a hidden gem, or even a local neighborhood. I'd especially love to hear places that aren't always on the typical tourist itinerary.

I'd also appreciate any tips on local food, culture, or experiences that make the place special.

Thanks in advance! I'm looking forward to reading your suggestions and hopefully adding some of them to my itinerary. 😊

Is graduating from a top university worth paying full price if you could study somewhere else for free?

If you had to choose between:

A. A globally prestigious university that requires paying full tuition and living expenses.

B. A less famous university where everything is covered by a full scholarship.

Which would you pick?

Do you think the prestige and network of a top university justify the cost, or is financial freedom after graduation the better investment?

Interested in hearing both students' and employers' perspectives.

What's something everyone says is easy that you still struggle with?

You know those things that people always say are "super easy" or "just common sense," but for some reason they've never really clicked for you? It could be something practical, social, or even a basic everyday task. I'm curious what yours is. No judgment—I think everyone has at least one thing they're embarrassed to admit they still find difficult.....

What's one business lesson you learned the hard way?

I'll start. Sometimes the most time-consuming tasks aren't the difficult ones — they're the repetitive ones. A project that looked like a simple setup ended up requiring hundreds of account checks and validations.

What's a lesson you learned the hard way while building or running a business?

Anyone else feel like weekends go by way too fast lately?

Not sure if it’s just me getting older or what, but Saturdays and Sundays feel like they disappear in a blink. I swear I just sat down to relax and now it’s already Monday again. Anyone else notice this or am I just not managing my time well?

Small win, but I finally fixed something I’ve been procrastinating for weeks

It wasn’t anything major, just a little issue I kept ignoring because it seemed annoying to deal with. Took me like 20 minutes once I actually sat down and did it. Feeling kind of relieved now, honestly should’ve done it earlier.....

Is it normal to lose motivation halfway through a hobby?

get really into something for a while (gym, learning stuff, random projects), then after a few weeks I just… stop caring as much. I don’t know if I’m just jumping between interests too fast or if this happens to everyone. Curious if others deal with this too.....
