Why are small women attracted to huge guys?

Or more importantly, why does a 6'4" guy get with a 5"2" girl? To me the logistics don't work. It's like Andre the Giant driving a Fiat. It just doesn't fit. Help me with my distorted view.

Effects of short term rentals

I read the FAQ page and I totally agree with your assessment of the short term rentals in our city. I'm from Algiers point and there have been many local B&B's in that area for years that used old traditional booking methods. People don't realize the negative effects that those interlopers have on our city. They look at their bottom line with no regard for the delicate balance it takes to maintain a city with the varied culture that New Orleans is famous for. I'm sorry that this business model has everyone so blinded. I have similar thoughts about ride share. The money the companies make goes out of town. Traditional Taxis reinvest in the community where they live. It a win win.

AIO My wife asked me if I had surveillance cameras in the house. Now I'm suspicious.

For context, about 20 years ago my wife confessed to having an emotional affair with someone on the phone that she'd misdialed. After misdialing a few times they struck up a conversation that lasted longer than normal. After the first day that they talked at length, he called her back to talk and it escalated from there. They started on the cell phone but soon moved to the house phone. Now during that time my wife was a stay at home Mom. I brought the kids to school, worked all day and picked them up. She spent all day on the phone with him. Neglecting everything else.

During this time, when I got home she'd be on the sofa watching TV, the house would be like I left it in the morning and nothing in the kitchen. Different from her previous behavior. I chalked it up to emotions or hormones or anything but what it actually was.

Then one day when I came home she was crying on the sofa. I ran to her and held her and asked what was wrong. She then confessed the whole thing. I was utterly stunned. Luckily i was able to get detailed billing from the phone provider. It showed over 8000 minutes on the cell phone and who knows how many on the house phone. Over 5 months she had been carrying on with this guy, She swore they never met it was only conversation. They didn't know where each other lived. She also swore she'd never said anything bad about me to him and she considered it harmless conversation until she found herself excited to talk to him, like it filled her boring days with something other than being the stay at home wife that she wanted to be.

I didn't go off on her like I should have. I did however change all the phone numbers and email addresses. I was mad for a long time.

I considered putting cameras in the house after that but I decided not to.

So now, she's asking if I have cameras in the house and I'm getting that feeling in my gut. Am I overreacting or should I watch her more closely. I had no idea the first time it happened.

When ever she sees this guy they seem to be over friendly to each other. For a guy who didn't want her and a girl who was heartbroken, they are a little too comfortable around each other. Their interactions seem a little too long and for a relationship that only lasted a year and that seems unnatural to me. And this happens in front of me. Who knows how they are when I'm not there.

We have an agreement that if we see an ex we will tell each other. So far she hasn't said she's seen him without me. So.... am I overreacting? I've spoken to her about this and she thinks I am.
