Quick question, is there a reason no flairs are available for the first 3 editions of WFB?

Seems odd when 9th age gets a flair and is not an official Warhammer product.

But... are the bigger GW plastic bases properly flat?

Many of the cheaper alternatives are often slightly warped and do not sit quite flush with the table.
