The game crashes when loading into the game right after the main menu. What's the fix for this? Or is there a system maintenance?

Struggling with the final boss at the Crucible. I'm at lvl23 with an unoptimized bleed Rouge Messer build. Should I keep trying or should I just go through the story for now?

Should I use chipped diamond right away and do they stack?
