There are so many BS articles from devils articles about the "Hughes to NJ" fantasy. I just need the deal done to silence the noise. BG's words on that pod were exactly how he talked about Kaprizov negotiations last year. and he even phrased it "contract negotiations ." if Quinn was walking, there would be zero negotiations and a trade would have happened, even then zero guarantee NJ has the best return. Russo has given us nothing to worry about, all of his stuff has pointed to a later summer signing. He has not wavered in his confidence, and his last WSITH he mentioned how he heard from both sides that it was going to get done. this is likely down to terms - Quinn wants 3, wild want more OR standoff to set the d-man market vs Makar. unfortunately until pen hits paper, the speculation will be endless
