No Spoilers at all: I’m over 515 hours in, somehow. This game has its hooks in me deeper than any Pokemon game since Red and Blue, honestly. But the DLC, with a new environment to repair and restore, new items and abilities, new mysteries to solve-it makes me feel like I did when I first booted up my game in March: helpless. I went from being able to command the familiar environments to my every silly whim to feeling like just a helpless little Ditto boy. I’m overwhelmed. I don’t know where to begin. My new friends are working on restoring the new Pokemon Center.

It’s exciting, and spooky, and every little tweak the new update brought shows that some developers listen to, and act upon player feedback. This game is absolutely brilliant.

Also, I still see some debate whether or not the DLC is worth the asking price. I obviously vote a resounding yes. The new area is gigantic, I keep discovering new things.

I learned yesterday that the Castform weather charm isn’t just a neat totem invented for Pokopia. I had a YouTube video playing as background noise ranking the worst/weakest Pokemon, and learned that Castform was in fact a Pokemon. And then I thought-well, maybe it’s new. I have a copy of Violet still in its wrapping, maybe that’s why I’m learning this now. Nope, Gen 3. That plush weather charm I have is based on a Pokemon who first appeared when George W Bush was in office.

Hi everyone, I had an order out for delivery last Wednesday, and was supposedly delivered via the lovely FedEx. The problem is, the delivery city, while close by to my address, is incorrect, and it was signed for by someone unknown to me. Weirder still, and most concerning, is that a ticket was created on the delivery date, under “Disputes Delivery” by someone else entirely. The tracking says the ticket will be updated, but hasn’t done so since 4/22.

What do I do? I’ve submitted two requests on Pokemon Center and gotten two automated responses. Does a ticket already being created on FedEx point to a driver stealing my package?

I’ve been buying from the website for years and never had any issues, but the inability to speak to someone is just absurd.
