Hello! Im an animator, and I'm animating my first voiced project (yay!). It's a 2-page animated short that serves as a B-plot for a longer web-series called 'Audubon'. A synopsis for both the short and the longer series are as follows:

'ScapeGoat' Synopsis:

Maxton Woodfield, The son of the most powerful criminal in New Orleans, recounts to Cleon a time when he almost killed his older brother, Sam, for attacking his mom. 

'Audubon' Synopsis:

Malakai Albera, a 15 year old immigrant, finds himself slipping through the cracks of society. Not quite fitting into any one place and causing trouble along the way. After getting pardoned out of jail by his uncle, he stumbles upon a wild warehouse party where he meets the powerful and radical Cleon Lakefield. This revolutionary ring leader takes him under his wing, and molds him into the perfect soldier, set on changing the world.

DISCLAIMERS/TWS:

-This short has themes of Violence, Domestic Abuse, and Manipulation. 

-VA's cast for this project will be used in future projects (If they agree, of course.) If you would NOT like to be considered for future projects and you are cast, just let me know! This can totally be just a One-Shot for you. It won't effect casting for this. 

-This short does NOT have Sexual themes, but the main story 'Audubon' DOES! So future shorts may contain sexual themes as well. Please keep this in mind for considering future projects. 

-Pictures will also be included for reference. There's three male roles, and one female, but all voices are welcome for any role. Feel free to read from the audition lines, or just drop your demo.

CHARACTER DESC:

Maxton Woodfield ($75):

LEAD - Early 20's, The son of the most powerful man in New Orleans, (No accent required), Is currently funding the revolutionary group 'The New Mob Rule' because he's in love with the leader of the group, Cleon. He's arrogant, but hides it with a dimpled smile. A charming, eager guy who would spend just about anything to make you like him. Comes from a dysfunctional family, so tries to buy that solace in others. People pleaser but still entitled.

Audition Lines:

• "Honestly, I understand why he did it. I just knew that whatever my dad was going to do to him afterwards was going to be a whole lot worse."
• "I mean, I've funded your whole life, Cleon! I feel like that means I have a little say, doesn't it?"
• "Poor guy. Doesn't even realize he's being played."

Cleon Lakefield ($50):

LEAD - Early 20's, The leader of the Guerilla Revolutionary group, The 'New Mob Rule'. He's all confidence, all charisma, with a voice that could convince anyone to do just about anything. He's cunning and sharp as a blade, but with the smoothness that makes you think he doesn't realize just how smart he is. 

Audition Lines:

• "I mean you're down my neck 24/7, I'm not your fucking boyfriend!"
• "I don't think he really knows how to feel love unless it's... Barbed, ya know?"
• "So... you gonna jump, or is this some sort of performance art?"

Bailey Woodfield ($20):

SUPPORTING - Mid 20's, Maxton's Older sister. A very smart girl with a chip on her shoulder. She's all business, all facts, no feelings. Set to inherit the Woodfield business, and will do a damn good job once she does. Has strained ties to her family, but loves her younger brother very much. Just... would never TELL him that.  

Audition Lines:

• "Maxton has always... followed his heart with his wallet. I'm not surprised he rushed to be your investor."
• "SAM, STOP!"
• "And what makes you think you can waltz in here and claim everything as your own? I'm the one whose worked my ASS off, not you."

Sam Woodfield ($20):

SUPPORTING - Late 20's, Maxton's Older Brother. Angsty, Brash, Heavily defensive of his siblings and himself. Betrayed by his family, and the ones he held closest. Now finds it hard to connect with anyone at all.

Audition Lines:

• "IT'S MY FAULT? MY FAULT? I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT'S REALLY MY FAULT!"
• "You shouldn't have come here expecting me to forgive you, makes you look like an asshole."
• "Yeah, I'll help you, but just know it's not for you. It's for my brother."
