I'm an ECE Master's grad in the US. Currently I am on OPT, and I have been struggling to get interviews in the semiconductor industry despite applying to entry to mid-level roles across the board. I tailor my resume for each JD but I'm still not getting callbacks. I don't have any prior ECE related work experience. My professional job before the Master's was a non-technical role.
