Hello all.

My buddies and I are coming to visit and i've been looking online trying to begin to somewhat create an itenerary for a day at the Canyon. I'll share what I have so far and I would love for you all to poke holes in it and give advise please. Ok boom, here we go: we would like to be there early enought to catch the sunrise and beat some of the heat as we are understanding that we can visit the South Rim 24/7. We are not sure if we are going to do much "hiking" but we would like to get to some spots that offer great views so that we may take pictures. To get to these spots from the south, how much hiking should we prepare for? If we do approach from the South Rim, is it possible to get to the North Rim on foot?

To you Vets here, will my combat boots I wore in the desert work here or should I just invest in a fresh pair of hiking boots? lol.

Anyone FAFSA seem to be taking longer than normal? I submitted back in may and have heard nothiing ever since it was processed. I dont think it has ever taken this long before. I wont start summer school until mid July but I def want to have this out of the way before then.

Can anyone beat the rates offered? I see the basic rental pages and its not even close.

One of my classes used a program on canvas that would tell how long a video was watched. For Apple, it required us to disable something on the Safari browser. Anyone ever had to do this and remember what it was? Semester is over and I would like to put it back now lol.
