I have a question about a bug. After updating to iOS 26.4 (public release), my volume up button stopped working. I’ve tried the following fixes I found online:
- reset all settings
- turn the phone off and on
- I can’t do a hard reset because the volume button isn’t detected
- backup and restore the phone
- toggled the option for controlling the ringer with buttons
I went to a repair service, and the guy there managed to make it work temporarily. The problem is that it stopped working again, and since I was in a hurry, I forgot to ask him what he did—especially since I originally thought I’d leave the phone there for at least a day.
Any advice?
