Tesla service center experience?
Hi there, recently bought a new model Y on July 17th. It’s my first Tesla. Anyway, before it hit 700 miles the DTR lights went out. I have an appt with Tesla service on Sept 8. The appointment is scheduled for 1030am to 5pm. So I messaged them about a loaner for the day, and got this response. Is this normal?
It sounds like they want me to bring my car in the day of service to diagnose the issue prior to committing a loaner. So, there’s a possibility I get there, check the car in, and there’s no loaner available for me so I have to sit at the service center for 7 hours. Seems pretty shitty process to me, but wanted to check if this was normal. (I have already called them to try to get the appt pushed up or send a mobile tech out since my cars brand new and they said no, so it’s unlikely calling them will help here either, but idk)
Thanks for any help,
Ben.
