Why did Navid not break up with Adrianna sooner

Midway through season 3, Adrianna becomes wrapped up in her own stuff, and begins to ignore Navid. He grows closer to Silver, and begins to have feelings for Silver. At any point, he could choose to break up with her, but he chooses not to. Then he begins an affair with Silver, who begs him not to break up with Adrianna because she doesn't want to hurt her, but has no qualms About sleeping with him. So, what was stopping Navid from breaking up with Adrianna when he began to have feelings for Silver.

They didn't need to kill Riley.

Yes, Annie was going to end up with Liam, but they didn't need to kill Riley in order to do that.

The relationship had problems. But the biggest problem was that, Riley was way more into the relationship than Annie was. She wasn't serious about the relationship.

I don't but that she loved him. Not when an episode Prior to her saying it, she was having a moment with Liam. And 2 episodes prior, she took a bullet for Liam.

All they had to do, was have him survive the surgery, and then once hes able to walk, he learns that Annie is living with Liam, who is her ex, and realizes she is Still in love with Liam.
