17 DPO with a very very faint positive. What does this mean?

I’m 17 DPO and 4 days late, but my pregnancy tests are still showing a very faint positive. I started testing at 15 DPO, when my period was due, but the line hasn’t really progressed or gotten lighter.

I’m 37 and have been TTC for 10 months. I had a chemical pregnancy in April, so I’m feeling quite anxious this time and finding it hard to get excited.

I don’t have any cramping, spotting, or other symptoms that would make me think of an ectopic pregnancy (hopefully not 🤞). Planning to go to my GP if I’m a week late without line progression.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, where their test line stayed very faint around 17 DPO?
