My wife and I are new parents (little over a week) healthy baby girl! I do not want to go into too much detail but formula prices add up quickly along with gas and bills. LS for 7 years, I got out in February 25’. I had an opportunity to get out, get a job and move to a desirable city. I submitted my VA claims in October of 25’ and I still have not heard anything. Every time I reach out for updates it is the same response in no one knows what is taking so long and they cannot give me any version of a timeline. Also, while in, I was that sailor that never went to medical and now I feel like that is going to negatively affect my chances at disability. Not well versed in the VA game. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!
