Update: Finally Got My Orientation Date for X31 Deck Electrician at HII NNS
I don’t know if you guys remember, but about 66 days ago I posted about not hearing anything after my clinic visit, physical, and respirator fit test. At that time, it had been around 18 days with no updates and I was starting to get worried.
Just a quick update—things finally moved forward. Since then, I’ve completed the Marine Trades Trainee (MTT) program, earned my OSHA 10 certification, and I now have my orientation date for X31 Deck Electrician at HII Newport News Shipbuilding.
For anyone still waiting, don’t lose hope. The process can take time, but stay patient and keep improving yourself while you wait.
For anyone already working there, I’d really appreciate any advice for starting out as a new X31 Deck Electrician.
