Just finished rewatching the anime

It's soo good. I binged it the first time and became a total fan. There are lots of anime about introverted guys but it hits differently from a girl's perspective. Tomoko is the perfect representation of a misfit and a loner. That one scene broke me when she was lighting firecrackers by herself in her backyard. This anime will always stay close to my heart.

I want to know you guys experience too.

Champak is overhated in the community

Now I know how much Champak is hated in the community but there's another side that isn't shown as much in the show. While I agree that Champak is egoistic, unfair and impractical there are a few things that are rarely discussed.

First of all After jethalal mother's death, Champak raised him alone. It must have been difficult for him after losing his wife. It's implied that he was never harsh on jethalal in his childhood (jethalal ke bachpan ke kisse and yaade) and it's clear that he loves him a lot. Second thing was the financial push he provided. He was considered to be selling radio in the village but he provided enough capital for Jethalal to set up his shop in Mumbai like city while he stayed behind in bhachao. I believe that if their backstory was given a little more attention, the character would have been understood better.

People should just read vanilla if they can't digest dark topics

I have been wanting to say this for a while because I keep seeing white knights all over the internet. The green flag syndrome is getting too out of control. I understand that some people might find some topics uncomfortable and it's understandable to avoid such topics but continuing when authors has given proper warnings and tags and then complaining is just foul behaviour and it's not one or two chapter, I see such comments form same commentors on every single chapter like they are reading just to complain.

it's just frustrating to see that some people can't accept that people can have different taste in fiction. Also why many people think we can't differentiate between fiction and reality?

I love to interact with community but it's just getting difficult atp.
