I have such a love-hate relationship with him, like I really hate the fact that he's a serial cheater but it's so entertaining to watch the scenes he's in. I think he was the funniest husband of all of them (Orson is a close second). Also he's EXTREMELY attractive
I am on season 2 where Carlos and Gaby are talking about adopting and Carlos is very against it, while gaby is in favour of adopting. The irony though, that they do end up with the kid that's not their dna and Carlos is the one who's high and mighty about "DNA doesn't matter". Is this hypocrisy or character growth?
I mean there's nothing much to it but I love how giggly Carlos is here while talking to Lynette about the kiss. Carlos's crush on Lynette is so adorable to witness whenever that gets brought up in the show.
I know it's wrong, Susan and Mike were the "great love" of the series bla bla but for me, if it's only about chemistry, I think Susan and Karl win it for me. Like to me, they had like, off the charts chemistry, the way Susan would set off when it's about Karl, the way Karl would look at Susan, I mean.... maybe it's the history and all but definitely something very organic between them. Ofcourse I hate Karl for the cheating and would never want them to end up together but I wish there was some universe where Karl wasn't a jerk (maybe that would've taken away his on screen charm tho so idk)
I am on my 3rd re-watch of the series and realised that it's so ironic of Susan to say this when her daughter has literally mothered her since her childhood, especially during Susan's divorce. I mean I sympathize with her but she was too dependent on Julie even though Julie was pretty young. I was really taken aback by how much Susan disliked her mom overstaying I mean she seemed fine?? Also she's literally like her mother (couldn't help draw similarities between Susan and Susan's mom here) so would she have been okay if Julie showed the same "enthusiasm" Susan had when her mother showed up? Also given Sophie seemed so much like Susan, do y'all think Susan too mothered her mom when she was young like Julie?
