One of the best things about the show is how the kids are just as big scumbags as the adults are

What's your Seinfeld hot take? Mine is that Kruger was the best boss and neither Peterman nor anyone else comes close

Reddit traffic rebounded in July

I've been tracking weekly visitors for the Top 250 most visited subreddits for a while now using this page and there was about a 5% increase in visitors from June to July.

Now before anyone mentions how July has one more day than June, this metric is the average weekly visitors, so the extra day has no impact on it.

Also, while this metric falls well short of being a perfect 1:1 substitute for DAUs, there has tended to be a pretty strong correlation with both it and the Semrush data. For example, I knew June was a relatively weak month just by this metric alone.

It's not possible to tell how much of this increase was driven by U.S. users, but I would think that the Top 250 subreddits tend to lean more U.S.-heavy compared to all subreddits combined, so I suspect much it was from the U.S.

One more thing I'll mention. NFL season starts soon and while that might not seem like a big deal, it comes with about 7 million more weekly visitors between the NFL and individual team subreddits. Of course, there is some overlap there and some are already daily users, but they are overwhelmingly from the U.S. and it's a huge opportunity for Reddit to not only bring in new users, but encourage people who are already on here to be more active.

Reddit has already done a little bit of partnering with the NFL, but I think there is a lot more they could be doing. Stuff like AMAs with players and coaches, partnering with teams to create official accounts to post news on the team subreddits, instead of only posting stuff on Twitter, etc.

I matched with a woman on a dating app, we talked for a bit and she asked if I wanted to go out for drinks. I replied with this line from Kramer. She mentioned liking Seinfeld in her profile so I figured she'd get the reference, but she unmatched with me instead.
