Running with cycling cross training

After years of running and ignoring cycling, I just got a stationary bike, and I’m looking to cross train. I have my second half marathon in October. Currently running 22 miles/week, adding10% more per week. I want to incorporate bike cross training as it’s new to me and I’m in that honeymoon stage with it.

My question is what’s the smartest way to incorporate biking into my training for injury prevention, endurance and speed? Could I cycle in morning and run in afternoon or is it better to have dedicated days or running and dedicated days of cycling?

Im inclined to have 1 dedicated cycle day (~1.5x regular running time) and 4-5 days of 30 minute cycles before work, with regular running after work. Im open to suggestions or experience based recommendations though! Thoughts?

No free content??

Hey all, I just bought a NordicTrack S22i bike (used, like new) and set up my ifit and it looks like there’s no way to have a basic workout without a paid membership. I always see online that there’s some limited options but I see no options. Am I missing something? Any tips?
