If you've thought about contributing to a OneForma data project but weren't sure what actually happens to your information, especially if it involves your child, here's a straight, no-jargon breakdown. 

 Before anything is collected: You get a clear, plain-language explanation of what's being collected, who sees it, why, and how long it's kept. It's provided upfront, in full -not buried in fine print. 

For minors: Verified parental or guardian consent is mandatory for anyone under 18. It's documented and retained on file. No minors participate without it. 

Where your data goes: Only to the client it was collected for, for a specific disclosed purpose. It is never sold, licensed, traded, or passed to any third party. 

How you're protected: Identities are safeguarded through anonymization/pseudonymization where applicable, plus contractual obligations that bind clients to the same standards. Clients are prohibited from re-identifying contributors, reselling data, using it beyond the disclosed purpose, or keeping it past the agreed period. 

Your control: Participation is always voluntary. You can withdraw before, during, or after a session, and we have processes to honor that and remove already-collected data where applicable.

We wanted to take a moment to explain something that comes up a lot - the Statement of Work, or SOW - and why it's actually one of the most important documents you'll receive as a contributor. 

What is an SOW? A Statement of Work is a document that outlines everything you need to know before starting a project: 

• 📌 What the work involves and how it should be completed 
• 📌 What's expected from you throughout the project 
• 📌 How you'll be paid — per hour or per task 
• 📌 Whether you'll have direct contact with clients

 

Why does it matter? Simply put, it protects you. Before you start a single task, you'll have full clarity on your responsibilities, your workload, and how your work will be compensated. No surprises. 

It also helps OneForma ensure tasks are distributed fairly and that expectations are aligned from both sides, making the whole experience smoother for everyone. 

Think of your SOW as your safety net. If anything ever feels unclear or misaligned, it's your first point of reference.

Why is KYC compulsory? KYC verification is required for all OneForma members. It's how we prevent cheating and keep scammers off the platform - making it a fairer place for everyone who's here to do genuine work. 

How do you complete it? 

• If you're new, you can verify during the registration process 
• If you already have an account, you can complete it anytime from your profile 
• Follow the instructions carefully when uploading your ID - not all IDs are accepted, so make sure you read the guidelines before submitting to avoid delays

 

Having issues? We know verification processes aren't always perfect, and we're actively working to improve accuracy and the overall experience. If you run into any problems, please don't hesitate to reach out:
