Radiator hose routing - is this normal?
Bought a used 2001 DRZ400E that came with the radiator hoses routed like this, but I can't seem to find photos of other DRZs with the same routing. Is this normal, or was it a mod done by the previous owner?

My turn to ask this question. Does my engine sound normal to you? I may or may not have rode it with low oil and coolant.......
Yesterday I was making my way up a trail when a guy came flying past me, carrying some speed, rear end sliding all over the place. Met him at the top and was surprised to find it was a CB500X on street tires!
Turns out the guy also a DRZ and competes in MTB/dowhill, I'm sure he's more capable with the cb500x than I am with my drz. It's not the bike, it's the rider!
Also, just swapped in a Husqvarna-style headlight, really happy with how it turned out.
I recently bought a DRZ400e, and it came without the radiator overflow reservoir. Instead, the hose is bent, and when the radiator heats up, it spits fluid out. I’ve seen other people do this online, but I don’t understand the benefits. Is this a good idea?
Yesterday I went for a ride, and every time I stopped and looked at the radiator, it was always at 100°C. It spit fluid out about 3 times (I could hear the fluid bubbling inside) and smoked about 3 times as well (when the fluid hit the exhaust/engine, I assume). I'm worried it might be overheating, isn’t 100°C too high?
I think the previous owner used demineralized water only. I’ve already bought a proper coolant to see if it takes a little longer to boil, and I’m thinking of installing a fan too, with a on/off switch for when I’m doing more technical/slow trails.
Just bought a drz but it came without blinkers (it was used only for enduro). I'm trying o understand the wiring to install them back, along with a speedometer.
I've looked at the wiring diagram, but couldn't figure out what these two parts were. Could anyone help me out?
I already have the OEM Service Manual and the Owner Manual. I'm looking for the Clymer manual, as I heard it's a bit better. Does anyone happen to have a pdf of it?
Thank you!

Always wanted an enduro bike and a sumo, and always liked the drz because it seemed to be all I wanted in one bike. After 10 years of riding street bikes, 5 of those on a 03 Yamaha Fazer 600, I finally managed to buy a (plated) 2001 DR-400Z E!
Drove it home happy as a kid in a fandy store. While the Fazer is more fun to drive fast, the DRZ has a such a good grunt on the low rpms that I never even felt the need to drive above 70kmh
The previous owner had it set up for enduro, so he removed the indicators, mirrors... But fortunately had them still, along with 2 boxes full of old or spare partes (including another set of plastics and new graphic kit!) Unfortunately he didnt have the cluster, as It originally came with the small odometer that only goes to 999km. Im thinking of buying a KR200 speedometer off aliexpress.
I plan on using it mainly off-road, but also need it to be good enough on road, since ill be driving to the trails (and will ocasionally drive around town too) It comes with motocross tires, so Im thinking of changing those for a pair of Michelin Trackers or Pirelli Scorpion Mid Hards (maybe Pirelli MT21?). I’m also trying to figure out how to protect the tires from punctures, I want to get as few flats as possible (i know they're inevitable, but..)
I also need to change the horrible headlight ahah (its not the original one)
