Fees Declines 1 Year Later

Everybody needs to be aware of how bad Turo is getting. I unlisted the remaining vehicles with Turo today. I already pulled all my trucks off, now I am pulling all the cars off. We had a customer do enough damage to a vehicle requiring a new window, and paint. We submitted and got everything approved. 1 year later they charged back 400 dollars to us. We called and no response from anybody with real authority to explain it. We are a Power Host, not somebody new and this is what they are doing. You have been warned.

Same Car Different Turo Fees

So I have three exactly same trucks on Turo. I have them priced the same on the calendar, yet when I search the trucks (outside of account on different browser), all three have different prices. Turo charges different fees for all three trucks. One is 100 dollars more daily than cheapest. So we had a bad guest with claims on the truck with highest daily price. I think Turo does this to punish the host for putting in the claim. Never ending with them.

More Turo Host Problems

So I have been sharing horror Turo stories and sharing the last Turo horror story as we are done with Turo. Someone rented F250 and towed an oversize manufactured home with it. Got stuck trying to get it on the property. Had to drive 2 hours to get the truck, had to cut down trees to get truck off the property. Turo is not vetting guests correctly. They are putting the risk of bad guests on the host. Thank God we started as an independent rental agency and not dependent on Turo. We are a power host and I cant recommend Turo as they are attracting the wrong customer. Unlisting cars with them as have not made any money with them in the last 12 months, 50% of the guests are a problem. Also, the guest stole license plate like the last guest.
