Just something I learned from the picture of the bloodied woman being treated by paramedics on the kerb.

There is a well known picture of one of the survivors of 9/11 at the WTC. She is sitting on a kerb, her face, hands and legs covered in blood. She has a triage label around her neck

There are two people standing over her, they are checking her hands and wrist. The man on the left is wearing a teal polo shirt and shorts. The man on the right has a white shirt with stripes, and tie. The two men have gloves on.

Anyway, the guy on the left is a paramedic named Philip Ashby. His transcript is here: https://static01.nyt.com/packages/pdf/nyregion/20050812_WTC_GRAPHIC/9110478.PDF

He mentions the guy on the right. Ricardo Quinn. Apparently he was a paramedic too. Quinn died in the collapse. His widow was able to identify him in the photo due to the bracelet he wore.

So when you look at that photo, remember that the guy treating the bloodied woman died that day.

No link to the photo as it is nfsw. You probably know the pic I'm referring to anyway.

In 1976, The Sex pistols played two gigs in Manchester at the Lesser Free Trade Hall. Despite playing short gigs in front of small crowds, it is now regarded as one of the most influential live concerts in the UK, with many in the audience forming their own bands.
