Gracie
It's been a bit since I shared a photo of Gracie. She's almost 14 months old 😍
It's Gracie's first birthday!
I can't believe she's leaving puppy hood 😞. She is a tiny bundle of energy and joy 😍. We love her so much ☺️.
My heart is breaking
I've been dreading this day for quite a while now. We'll be saying goodbye to Dina in a couple hours. She has been the sweetest best girl ever. Dina was about 13 weeks when we got her. She was a complete goofball but totally devoted. I fell and broke my heel years ago. I was laying on the floor waiting for Alex to help me get to the car. Dina laid by my head the whole time.
She was a fabulous big sister. She taught Anna and Gracie the ropes with firmness and love. Somehow 15 years doesn't seem nearly long enough. We are so fortunate to have had her. Sweet Dina we will never forget you 💔😓.
Briefly some back ground -
I've had 4 lumbar surgeries (microdiscectomies/fusions) and 3 cervical fusion. I was referred to a neurologist for near constant numbness and tingling in the right arm, intermittent on the left arm. Tremors in both hands. After examination he said that I have Parkinson's. He noted that I didn't move my right arm when walking, bradykinesia, decreased voice modulation and facial expression. He ordered an EMG of both arms. 3 months after the first appointment, I saw him last week to review the test.
He said that he thinks he jumped the gun and doesn't think I have Parkinson's and to follow up in a year. He said the tremors are essential tremors not Parkinson's. The tremors are the same as my initial exam. I'm thrilled that he doesn't think I have Parkinson's but what the hell?? Has anyone had a similar experience?
