I've always wondered why Black Sails never really became a mainstream hit. What do you think held it back? Was it the setting? Or maybe the slower pacing of the first few episodes?

Just stumbled upon this subreddit by searching "uranium" in the search bar and it got me curious. The project looks really interesting but how can I be sure it's legit?
