This movie is just everything .. I’ve watched countless times —-it just happens to be on now when I came home and it stopped me in my tracks I love picking up every nuance .. it’s mesmerizing to me and I love the cast. The music is just .. wow.
MB Jordan has been a favorite since he was little Wallace on The Wire.
But I do want to give a special shout out to Hailee Steinfeld .. she’s so good in this & believable. Like MB she was a young actor who has grown and I’m here for that. So, this movie goes into the archives of my favorites forever.

Is Season 2 filming yet? WTD was amazing FOR ME and my older siblings… it brought back a lot of nostalgia of those days of having a group of friends and discovering our neighborhood- things that frighten
- bonds, etc. Kudos to these younger actors the raw emotion refreshing and the rest of the cast.. did not disappoint.

Original watcher decades ago and have rewatched more times than I can count … outside of this being one of the best shows ever in every way the last season is on now and just have to say Maggie- George’s daughter and Ruth’s step daughter - you can see she the beginnings of her crossing lines with Nate early on. If she’s so worried about George her dad and wants to know why he’s in an apartment alone and Ruth isn’t
she could call Brenda or Claire… but she sees something in Nate and pursues it …we all know it ends really bad.
Brenda is and will always be one of my favorite characters towards the end we felt so bad for her and the way she was treated as Nate’s wife and Maggie had NO place there in anyone’s life except her dad’s who is estranged from his wife …
