Is this an expensive fix?

I have an older ipad and wanted to see if it could work again, but I found the tablet has this big crack. The crack is from smth inside pushing out of the ipad. I dont know anything really about ipads and just wanted to know if it is for scraps.

I remember the battery life on the ipad was awful and never would turn on for longer than 15 minutes on 100% and maybe 30 if it was charging while at 100%. Charging also take over 4 hours and it wont turn on even until 30 minutes of charging. Not sure about much else though.

Mod issue: I cant teach Lucien anymore spells and I don’t know why

I have taught him a number of spells prior to this, have trained him to where his skill levels in each school is 100, his approval and bravery are 208 and 163. I have the spell tomes and I have tried having them both in his inventory and mine. Google has been no help and I just want lucien to keep up with my play style. Is this a bug or potentially something wrong with my load order? I play on steam deck and its already a nightmare just to get vortex to open so I dont want to have to send my mod list at the moment but if its needed ill work something out. I will add I dont have any mods that effect spells, or lucien (other than inigo).
