Some updated info for RN applicants
1.Take the five prerequisite courses: ENG 101/100.5, PSY 100, MAT 104/104.5, CHE 121, BIO 425.
*Students CAN have prerequisite courses in-progress to apply for the May HESI, but not for the December HESI.
Students interested in the evening and weekend program are no longer required to take BIO 426 and BIO 420 before applying.
Students can repeat any of the five prerequisite courses one time for a second grade. The higher grade will be considered for admission.
Submit the new nursing program application by the deadline.
* For fall admission, the HESI is given in early May. We recommend submitting the application well before May 1st.
* For spring admission, the HESI is usually given in early December. We recommend submitting the application well before November 15th.
- Take the HESI A2 exam.
Wait for an admissions decision from the Nursing Department.
- There are 120 spots for admission: 30 for day, 30 for afternoon, 30 for Tue/Thurs night/weekend, and 30 for Mon/ Wed night/weekend.
