I’m currently living in Australia and thinking of investing in an US stocks, I use stake. My plan is to eventually move permanently to Nepal and use this investment for retirement by withdrawing a small amount each year.
What happens to my investment when I move to Nepal permanently?
Can I keep my S&P 500 investment in Australia or with an international broker and continue withdrawing a small amount each year while living in Nepal? Or would I need to sell or transfer the investment?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has done something similar or knows how this works.
