I have a TH350 in my vehicle (72 FJ40) and the transmission shifts from 1-2 at 4100 rpms 32 mph 2-3 also 4100 rpm not sure mph. I have replaced the modulator, installed a vacuum reservoir to make sure there was plenty of vacuum adjusted the modulator without change. Shift down cable seems free. Any suggestions? It was rebuilt 7 years ago but until recently I hadn't driven it fast enough to notice it before. Is it possible the rebuilder souped it up? When it shifts it will chirp the tirs on my FJ.
