hi guys i hope y’all are doing well, today i want to share few things with y’all and asking for advice

i graduated my school in 2025, planned to go to abroad but at the end moment my dad denied and told me no that he can’t afford it and as i’m the oldest one i need to stay in india and look after my family and i agreed because my mother was mentally not okay and i’ve two younger sisters

started preparing for cuet in january 2026 but couldn’t get good scores due to my family conditions

now i’m shifting to delhi because i know i won’t be able to achieve anything here, and the good news the situation is better now, my mother is fine and my sisters are doing fine as well so i’ve decided to take a complete drop for srcc eco honours, i’m vvv interested in economics but the problem is i didn’t have maths in 11th and 12th (biggest regret of my life) i had commerce without maths and later i realized i want to pursue economics but it was already too late

from my research of few past days i got to know there’s a solution for this problem and the solution is open learning, i’m ready to study all day and all night, what i’ve got to know is that DU only accepts marks from one single board and during subject mapping i may face problems so it means either all subjects from cbse/icse or all subjects from nios

earlier i was thinking that maybe i should do only maths from open learning but got to know it doesn’t work like this and i may face problem in future, so i need to do all 5 subjects from nios (english, acc, eco, bst and maths) then only i’m eligible for eco honour at srcc

i want to know if any of this info is wrong please correct me and please do not be rude in the comments, i’m not really doing well mentally but trying to make my life better

guys so i passed my class XIIth in 2025, after that i started preparing for my abroad admissions and at the same time got enrolled in sbsc but didnt really attend the college as it was just a backup in case my abroad plans get cancelled, i went to college very few days and later i completed stopped going to college and didnt even withdraw my admission and started preparing for abroad but unfortunately the abroad plan got cancelled and decided to give cuet again and get into tier 1 institution, so the problem is i need to get a recent character certificate for physical verification at delhi university, so what to do now, my school has told me they’ll renew my old character certificate

so my question is it okay or should i ask sbsc because delhi university says the character certificate has to be from the last institution the student attended
