My wife spent serious coin and time on her dream MCR/PTV trip to Nashville...then got COVID. She's sick, staying home and devastated. Can we get this to the band?
8 months of planning, $1K+ spent on incredible seats with her mom and sister, all flying from different corners of the country.
My Chemical Romance and Pierce the Veil are two of her fave bands. Seeing them on one stage in one night was a dream scenario.
Then COVID hit this week out of nowhere, completely taking her out of commission. Aches, fever, cold sweats, exhaustion, headaches...it's brutal.
She is completely gutted. They were gonna make a full girls weekend out of it with tattoo and massage appointments, the whole nine. It was perfect!
Her mom and sister are still going, and giving her ticket away for free to an unsuspecting, lucky person in Nashville, because that's just how she and her fam roll ❤️. But she has to stay home because she's way too sick to go and she doesn't want to infect anyone else.
So, it completely sucks for my sweet wife. To anyone in the MCR or PTV crew, management or venue team browsing Reddit: any chance to get a 5-second well-wish video from someone in the band? Or a shout out or signed set list or something? It would really help turn a nightmare scenario into something she'd truly treasure.
