I have just finished all of the PTV albums recently, my personal favorite was Flare for the Dramatics, but I had genuine disgruntled dislike for Jaws of life. I know that they have a new drummer now, since Mark wanted to be a weirdo, but I did not think that was going to change the basis of their music

I hated Jaws of Life. It was like a whole new identity for the band, and it was not a good one.

Not to long ago i was listening to stay away from my friends and realized at the 2:45 part that it sounded different to me. I’ve only been a ptv fan for 3-4 years but very vividly remember that part in the song having a sort of call in response going

woahh (ooh) woah (ooh) woah (ooh)
then the part that goes “never heard before” then that top part repeats again before the song goes back but the thing is when i’ve been hearing it recently the part just isn’t there anymore and i could’ve sworn it was? i asked my bf and another friend who are also both big ptv fans and they agreed that they remember that part in the song. i listen to all my music on spotify so i also assumed it could have been maybe a censor but i look on youtube and the official version of the song posted by ptv doesn’t have that part either

does anyone else remember the song sounding like that??

very random question, but i've been wondering if anyone knows why older ptv cds are so impossible to find online??? i'm from europe and i've been looking for a selfish machines cd for over 2 years now because it is my all time favourite album but i can only find the cd being sold for absolutely ridiculous prices (70€ and up). same goes for basically any cd before JoL? and it's literally the same with older sws albums too? does anyone know why they are so hard to find? :0

Hii as the title says I'm debating going to see PTV at the Petco park Sept 12. The only thing that's setting me off is on Setlist.fm it says the concert is 45 minutes long and only 8 songs. The location for me is already pretty far it takes longer to get there then the actual concert. Idk PTV is one of my favorite bands ever I'm just debating because I want it to be worth it as it'd be my first time seeing them. 😭

!Edit: I realized I was looking at the set list for when they opened for blink 182. Thank you for everyone who helped me I'll definitely be going!
