Braxton Hicks/Preterm Labour at 20 weeks 😭
I need to know I’m not the only one and hear how many of you made it a few weeks to safer viability or full term !
At about 17 weeks I had strong Braxton hicks start and then go away for a week. I was having a cervical exam that day anyways (due to my first being a 31 weeker & history Braxton & cervical shortening). I was measuring normal 4.3cm. Fast forward a week the Braxton’s picked up to every 2-10 minute over many hours. I went to emerg & my cervix had shortened to 3.3, not worrisome but a whole cm in 1 week. My midwife told me to take it easy for a week modified rest and wait for my next cervical scan in a week. My Braxton’s have not gotten better, they pick up to every 2-3 minute and strong the minute I stand up. I know to go in if they stay consistent but honestly I’ve been too scared to get out of bed. I’m 20 weeks and just praying she holds on for another month or so at the least.
