Wisdom teeth removal before surgery and fear

I woke up yesterday with a toothache, of course. My surgery is the 27th and my doctor approved two removals and a bone graft. Has anyone done this so close to surgery?

I’m also feeling a lot of fear creep in. Both my husband and I are widows. We were reviewing statistics and I started worrying about dying. I know there is risk with every surgery. I feel like I’m backing out. Just about everything has gone wrong. I’ve also what a cold and a leak in my casita. Just really feeling overwhelmed. Any advice?

Edit: I had the teeth removed yesterday. Sorry. I left that out.

I’m having a horrible pain around the fibular head. It burns and hurts all day. My surgeon says it’s “probably “ ligaments that are stretched and hurting because I am bow legged. He believes that it will resolve after the surgery but, it’s popping all the time. It hurts very badly. I don’t under they won’t just investigate whilst they are in there. Did anyone else experience this and did it resolve after you healed? Thank you.
