After graduating, I started making money online playing MMOs and never got a real job. I've been doing this for 4 years now but the well's drying up. I know this question gets asked 100 times a day probably but I just want to get into a field where I can work remotely and have a stable job. Every post on reddit is doom and gloom and makes it seem like remote work is impossible to get. I have enough money saved up to study for 2 years and I'm willing to get into any field. The two things I've been considering is Backend development and Data Analyst. Any recommendations? I am not from a known country.

I signed up for Mercor about a month ago not expecting anything and yesterday got an instant offer. I'm not getting my hopes up because I've heard of the horror stories. The only thing is it says I can work up to 10 hours weekly. Does this change at any point?

Update: So before I can even onboard the project was put on pause lol.

The AI Trainer & Data Annotator job listing says "US, UK, Canada, or Australia". Does it make sense to apply if I'm outside these regions?

I've received 2 emails at this point that I've been accepted for a micro1 job but I'm not sure if it's real because the email address ends in @micro1.io rather than @micro1.ai, is anyone able to confirm whether this is real?
