Day 2- Jispa

My eyes could barely behold this beauty. The change in landscape post the Atal Tunnel was surreal and beyond capture.
Pit stop #2 before we begin our ascend.

Round 2: Female Solo Traveller – Leh Circuit Transportation Query

I’m planning to cover most of the major spots on the Leh circuit.

Nubra, Pangong, Hanle..

I’ll be relying primarily on shared taxis/cabs and local buses, depending on which routes are available. From what I’ve researched so far, it doesn’t seem like these can be pre-booked or planned well in advance.

For those who’ve done this trip:

* Is there any way to plan or pre-book shared cabs or buses?
* How did you manage transportation between destinations?
* Any tips to make the journey smoother, especially for a solo female traveller?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Solo Female Traveller: Jispa to Leh by Road + 3-Day Leh Itinerary Suggestions

Hi everyone!

I’m planning a solo trip from Jispa to Leh by road and would love some advice from fellow solo travellers.

I’m looking for an affordable and safe way to travel. Could you please suggest:

The best transport options (shared taxi, bus, etc.)
Approximate fares
Where to board from in Jispa or nearby area.
Departure timings and how frequently they’re available
Whether I need to book in advance or can find transport on the spot.

I’ll be staying in Leh for about 3 days. What would be a realistic itinerary without rushing too much?

Any tips on safety, acclimatization, or things you wish you knew before doing this route would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance! 😊
