Free Anime Jelly - Slots open again

I'm opening my jellfyin again, the last time was ~9 months ago i believe, should be able to fit more in. [Might close in ~24/48hrs]

PLEASE STOP COMMENTING "Interested" The discord invite is at the end of this post, if you can't join either of them, then that means you joined ~9months ago and were banned/etc

📚 ~915 anime series( seasons not counted separately — e.g. all of Monogatari = 1 series)
🎬 ~480 anime movies

[Please upvote this if you enjoy the jelly once your in, the last opening i had is the top rated post in this reddit, would be cool if this one is up there as well~]

🧠 About the Library

  • 95% of content is top-quality via TrashSync / Notifiarr / SeaDex, etc.
  • Unpopular shows that were massive (like 80GB each) have been replaced with smaller versions.
  • Dual audio versions prioritized (for my dub lovers).
  • New episodes auto-grabbed via Sonarr and upgraded when available.
  • Files that are hard to play (10bit h264) are compressed/etc to 10bit HVEC for faster/easier playback.
  • Most shows get compressed/etc, even though i grab the "top quality" version, it might not look the best, but i do set it to be "lossless"/etc

🔑 How to Join

  • It’s completely free — I’m not asking for library shares or anything in return.
  • Just join the Discord post in the "ping-4-jelly" room.

👉 Discord Invite: https://discord.gg/vjJbMnKDDc OR https://discord.gg/BbSk9HrkXJ (If Neither work, either restart your app or it means you were banned 9 months ago/etc)

📌 You MUST stay in the Discord to keep access to Jellyfin.

📌 Your jelllyfin account MUST be active once every 30 days, Because i get so many people joining, i need to "actively" prune/purge those who don't utalize it. So when i look at users and it says "1 month since last usage" or whatever, i remove that jellyfin account and the discord account associated.

📌You MUST use your discord account name as your jellyfin name, otherwise it will be removed.

Constant buffering from transcoding a single anime session?

So i recently got a Roku Ultra because apparently Samsung TV's don't have the jellyfin app; and sideloading it was easy but a god awful experience.

However, I'm trying to play a single episode and it is buffering like Crazyy... it will play like 5 seconds, start buffering/going from 0% to 100%, sometimes it won't even play it will go to 100% then restart and go to 100% again. [This is also happening on Mobile, so i'm assuming it's not an roku issue or something but a transcoding issue] (I can play it perfectly on Desktop Jellyfin, though it allows directplay on there; And i can't seem to "make" it transcode on desktop, even by changing the bitrate/etc. I almost NEVER have trouble transcoding; i'm not sure what's happening, and would appreciate any help. When transcoding to my TV; it will get to like 90% gpu usage which is very strange imo; I've had my server a long while and never see it hit 90% while a single person is transcoding anime.

Info:

CPU/GPU - i5-12600k (so UHD 770)

TV - TU7000

Video info/etc - Anime Episode, 1080p [MKV, MTBB Group]
When transcoding on phone and buffering - 8.4 Mbps TS H264 AAC [subtitle codec not supported]
When transcoding on the TV/roku ultra - 8.4 Mbps TS HEVC MP3 [subtitle codec not supported]

Jellyfin version - 10.11.8

Subtitle Burn-in on Device is Turned off (After googling and it saying that is a massive performance hit, However i guess since subtitle is ".ass" it doesn't matter)

And these images are my current transcoding settings [that have been changed from default i think]

Is this Basically all on the Subtitles being .ass and phone/roku don't like that? if so, might need to look into Bazarr [I feel like it's weird if that's the issue; i watch anime on my Roku TV downstairs 90% of the time and never have any problems, and i feel like .ass is a pretty common subtitle codec]

Plugin for TV Show Resolution filters?

So i'm trying to remove the lowest quality/resolution media now that i'm using a bigger TV and can notice lower resolutions. (55" to 75")

However, as far as i can tell, only the "movies" sections of jellyfin have "video types" where you can say 4k/etc.

So do you know of a plugin that gives 720p/etc filters to "tv shows"?
