Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a Hungarian student visa for medicine at the University of Debrecen and I wanted to ask if anyone from the Middle East was required to submit IELTS/TOEFL for the visa process.

I did A-levels in English, have an English proficiency certificate from my school, and also have my university acceptance letter for an English-taught program.

Was that enough for your visa application, or did the embassy/VFS still ask for IELTS?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences, especially from students in Middle Eastern countries. Thanks!

I have my University of Debrecen medicine entrance exam very soon (both the written exam and the interview), and honestly I’m feeling a bit lost and stressed.

Could anyone who has already taken it please share what kind of questions you got in both parts? Especially for Biology and Chemistry like what topics came up most, how difficult was it, and what did they focus on during the interview?

Were the oral questions mostly basic concepts or more application-based? Did they ask a lot from physiology like hormones, nervous system, respiration, kidney, etc.?

Any examples of actual questions you remember would help a lot.

I’d really appreciate any advice or tips for preparation. Thank you so much!
