Anyone know how smooth the process is to go from Canada to NZ? I currently attend a top 3 law school in Canada with both Canadian and NZ citizenship. My idea was to practice in Canada for a few years before making the move to NZ. How straightforward/common is this shift? Pros/cons to practicing in NZ? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers
Anyone have any advice for networking with a full-time job? I’m a 1L summer student at a firm in the GTA and I can’t get downtown Toronto until 5pm at the absolute earliest. My grades are kinda split, a few A’s, lots of B’s and a C so I imagine networking would be advantageous to counteract my C. How are others managing their need to network with full-time jobs?
For ex, is an A in ethics or writing weighted equally to an A in torts or contracts? Any input would be appreciated!
Is there a reason why Osgoode doesn’t give A-, B-, etc grades? Just curious
