Hum Saath Saath Hain was a great Ramayan

I was just scrolling facebook reels yesterday and some hum saath saath hain clips kept coming up… next thing i know i watched the whole movie 😅

honestly still my fav ramayan adaptation. they never say it's ramayan but it's so obviously there. joint family, stepmom getting brainwashed against the eldest son, brothers not ready to split no matter what, he leaves home… no gods, no VFX, nothing. just family drama and it feels enjoyable though it has many OTT scenes.

and ngl not getting good vibes from namit malhotra's ramayan. looks more like a VFX showreel than an actual story. hope i'm wrong but idk

what are your fav ramayan adaptations?
