Honestly, Esha Gupta looks more suited for Shurpanakha than Rakul Preet Singh. Esha has the sharp facial features, intense eyes, and can naturally pull off negative and shady characters.
Rakul has more of a soft girl, which works beautifully for romantic or traditional heroine roles. But for Shurpanakha, I feel Esha's evil-looking presence fit the character much better.

Although the Bombay girls - Maheep, Bhavna, Neelam and Seema seem very close atleast on surface, Riddhima Kalyani & Shalini did not that vibe.

Because considering her insane luck factor, I genuinely feel that if it wasn’t for Yash and the whole Kannada movie connection, she would’ve somehow landed a female lead in this too. Her demand right now is crazy ..she’s literally EVERYWHERE. You put on an ad, there she is. Skincare, jewellery, food, random apps, Whisper sanitary pads… literally you name it 😂
And the funniest part is this is happening despite the below average acting, the cringe and annoying over-acting she keeps doing and posting on Instagram 😭 Her luck needs to be studied at this point.
So yeah, seeing the Toxic cast and NOT seeing her name was honestly refreshing lmao.

I like to consider this film fiction rather than a biopic. It felt more like a glorification of a grown ass man as a victim of circumstances, while downplaying the fact that many of those circumstances were consequences of his own choices. He had immense privilege and opportunities, yet the film often seemed more interested in making us sympathize with him than holding him accountable.
Maybe in the future, we'll get a biopic about Salman Bhoi showing how he was a misunderstood victim all along and how we should sympathize with him too. 😂
