With the changes raised in the recent budget around minimum tax on discretionary trusts is there any adjustment to people’s thinking on using trusts and holding companies to fund future income post retirement?

Any income I earn through my trust would be at the highest tax bracket so my goal was to leave it in the holding company to grow until I am no longer at that tax bracket.

Looking for ideas for chubby travel as an Australian considering the additional travel to get to Europe or North America (so not having to fly so far)

Have been through to Singapore, Japan (though hope to go again), NZ and are heading to Thailand and Sri Lanka next year.
